 500/88/22 Challenge

Burpees! We all know where we stand when it comes to burpees.... Now, just imagine doing 500 of them in one go?!
Then imagine giving yourself 88 minutes to do them?!
Now imagine doing that consecutively for 22 days?!
Just to put that into perspective that’s 11,000 burpees in 22 days!
That’s exactly what Mark and his friend Scott have achieved, all in aid of Who Dares Cares.  88 being the number of recorded UK Veteran suicides in 2020 and 22 being the highest number of US Veterans committing suicide in a single day.  Mark and Scott fundraised to raise awareness of military service members taking their own lives by taking on the 500/88/22 challenge 31 January - 21 February 2022.  Absolutely amazing effort Mark and Scott!  Total respect, thank you for supporting Who Dares Cares.

1000 Miles Walk Challenge

George raised mental health awareness and fundraised for Who Dares Cares by walking 1000 miles from 01 November 2020 to 31 October 2021.  George helped support individuals from all walks of life suffering from PTSD by encouraging them to walk with him during his Tab for Remembrance and his Walk, Talk and Brew Sessions within West Lothian, Scotland during the coronavirus pandemic.  When the coronavirus lockdown was lifted, George climbed Ben Lomond, Dumyat Summit, Cobbler, Ben Vorlich and Ben Nevis in clocking up the 1000 miles.  George finished the Walk1000 Challenge in style by walking 21 miles from Edinburgh Castle Esplanade to the Livingston Civic Centre War Memorial, West Lothian.  George even got a mention from the Proclaimers on walking 500 miles and walking 500 more!  Great achievement George, thank you for supporting Who Dares Cares.
